After the success of our higherfrcs.co.uk website for section 1, we were inundated with requests by candidates asking for support with section 2 of the FRCS. It is off the back of this support and encouragement that we have developed a truly unique resource for candidates.
When you join higher VIVA you will experience a holistic approach to the exam using scenarios that have featured recently or in the past. We have explored the areas that candidates would have found valuable for revision and as well as the model answer we have an outline of what a good structured answer would be to allow you to apply these principles in other circumstances.

That would be enough for an excellent resource but have you ever wondered how you sound to an examiner or someone else? We have built in the ability for you for record your own audio answers and play them back so that you can hear what you sound like and ultimately we are our most severe critic.
We have also complimented all this with a viva course that has been running for over 12 months and takes a group of 5 candidates and up to 30 observers through a range of scenarios including general, speciality and academic topics. This last minute VIVA course helps to hone in your technique and skills ready for the day.
When we were preparing for the exam we found that although there were lots of people that wanted to help, due to time commitments they just weren’t able to. Our website and course will hopefully help you pass the first time.
